Reside Communities to launch development of two new village stages with new offering “soon”

1 min read

CEO and Co-Founder Glen Brown said the Queensland boutique retirement living business with over 1000 homes built or in the pipeline is gearing up for two launches next month.

“Fairway Carindale Stage 2 is being publicly launched to the market in late March 2025, which will see the delivery of 76 luxury golf side apartments in three mid-rise buildings,” Glen said.

“This is on the back of a sold-out Stage 1 which saw 52 apartments delivered in two mid-rise buildings; along with the completion of a new clubhouse and golf facilities for Pacific Golf Club."

Fairway Carindale, in the suburb 13.1km southwest of Brisbane’s CBD, is a collaboration between Reside Communities and the co-located Pacific Golf Club. Stage 2 will also include the completion of community facilities.

Reside Communities' flagship resort Esperance Hope Island

Reside's flagship resort is Esperance Hope Island on the Gold Coast. Stage 3 will also be publicly launched next month with 86 luxury apartments and villas. This follows the completion and sell out of stage (76 Apartments) and the completion and ongoing sell down of stage  (77 apartments) at the village.

“Esperance Hope Island had surprised in that it was not just drawing new residents from the immediate catchment of the Gold Coast region but also from New South Wales, Victoria and New Zealand with the latest two apartment sales being new residents previously living in Auckland, NZ,” he said.

Samford Grove retirement village, which won the National Retirement Living Awards category for best development by a village operator with more than 500 retirement dwellings in its portfolio, sold out during mid-2024. 131 villas and apartments developed over four years are occupied.

“We had a lot of learnings from the Samford Grove development and sell down experience, which we will replicate in our new offering at Maleny Grove in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. This will launch soon to market,” Glen said.

Maleny Grove was bought from Live Life. It has 28 units with Reside applying to Sunshine Coast Council to build a further 66 units over two stages.
