With stage two sold out and still being built, people aged over 55 are still wanting to move into Soldiers Point Bowling Club’s $23 million Greenside Port Stephens resort-style apartments.
“[We have] unbelieveable results,” said Simon Lack, CEO of Soldiers Point Bowling Club, which owns and manages Greenside Port Stephens.
Stage 1 of 26 units sold out and Stage 2, a seven-storey 62-unit building, has sold out with the building three months into construction.
There will be a further 72 units in total in stages 3 and 4 and a waiting list already exists.
“It shows the demand out there and it has been great for the club. About 90% of people at Greenside come into the club. I would say the average age at Greenside is late sixties, early seventies,” added Simon.
