The frustration continues as regularly changing ministers results in a hiatus of understanding of the issues and regulation creep for operators and residents.
The NSW Retirement Villages Residents Assn President Craig Bennett will be keeping a close eye on the NSW Election on Saturday, 25 March.
“No matter who forms government after the State election, there is likely to be a change in the state minister responsible for the retirement village legislation,” said Craig, who attended the LEADERS SUMMIT.
Labor, led by Chris Minns, is expected to win the election and give NSW it’s first Labor government since 2011 despite the Liberal Party’s Dominic Perrottet being the preferred Premier, according to the latest poll for the Sydney Morning Herald.
