Retirement village takes centre stage in $70M coastal precinct in Perth

1 min read

The Beaumaris Beach Village Precinct in Iluka, 30km north of the CBD, is being put for approval by specialist Perth-based developer OP Properties in partnership with Brightwater Care Group.

The three to four storey precinct would include independent living units and apartments, plus a café, restaurants and retail in Satterley Property Group’s estate.

The village would be Brightwater’s second in Perth’s affluent northern suburbs and CEO Jennifer Lawrence has told the local paper that the design will be built around the idea of intergenerational living.

“This model helps to maintain a sense of security and connection for those people, backed by the knowledge that additional in-home care will also be available,” she said.
