The Weekly SOURCE has compiled the top 15 largest retirement village operators, as of April 2023, which shows the top three are privately owned.

11 aged care providers ‘named and shamed’ by the regulator for failing care minute targets

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has named 27 residential aged care homes and eleven providers who have been hit with ‘enforceable undertakings’ for failing to meet their care minute targets. Nine of the 27 homes listed are operated by Tricare.
