Vasey’s Kokoda Residences opens in Waitara, Sydney

1 min read

Vasey Communities has officially opened its new Kokoda Residences vertical village on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

The 117-unit village, which is made up of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments plus penthouses, was declared open in a ceremony attended by NSW’s Governor, Her Excellency, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, as well as Vasey Chair Kate Gunton (both pictured, right to left).

In a statement, Vasey Communities said it was proud to have worked for seven years to bring Kokoda Residences to fruition.

“To launch this project at the very outset of the Covid Pandemic, through lockdowns, floods and further lockdowns, and with the community spirit nurtured throughout those times, we really are very proud of the pioneering residents that bought off the plan and now call Kokoda Residences home.

“A great outcome for the residents, Vasey Communities, the Commonwealth Bank, and dare we say, for the industry – as Kokoda Residences has helped change the perceptions of retirement living on Sydney’s Upper North Shore,” the company said.
