The Buxton family’s latest retirement village in the bayside suburb of Sandringham, 16km south of Melbourne’s CBD, is expected to welcome its first residents in October this year.
The Trentham will evoke a five-star boutique beachside hotel with its 50 apartments, ranging in size from: two-bedrooms 94sqm to 153sqm and three-bedrooms 160sqm to 194sqm. Private open space ranges from 8sqm to 131sqm.
“We're very pleased with the progress at The Trentham Sandringham, having already sold 60% of the apartments across the range of apartment types including penthouse apartments,” said Samantha Buxton, Managing Director, Buxton Group and OneToAnother Retirement Living.
The Buxton family re-entered the retirement living sector in 2012 and bought back The Crescent retirement village in Brighton, 11km southeast of state capital’s CBD, from Aveo Group.
In December 2019, the Buxton Group completed its second 35-apartment development, The Granton, also in Brighton.
