Not For Profit Melbourne-based aged care provider mecwacare has completed its new 110-bed aged care home, the Simon Price Centre.
The development includes public and retail spaces for residents and guests to use and is positioned for sweeping views of the Mount Albert North area, 13km east of the Melbourne CBD.
Its private rooms feature walk-in robes and balconies, there are communal lounges, a large cinema, café, multicultural food choices, a hair and beauty salon, and library.
The home is open to the community for tours.
mecwacare is expanding its presence in Victoria. The group provides home care services, has four retirement villages, and operates 17 (soon to be 18) aged care homes in metro and regional Victoria.
