NSW Land and Environment Court approve senior housing plan in Sydney’s Upper North Shore

10 townhouses for seniors living, including basement car parking, in the suburb of Pymble, 15km north of Sydney’s CBD, are to be built.

Agreement was reached at a conciliation meeting between Telegraph St Ives Development Pty Ltd and Ku-ring-gai Council, presided over by Commissioner Joanne Gray after the developer sought changes after his original development application was approved.

The existing structures will be demolished for the new townhouses, which will operate under strata title.

The homes will have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, with spacious living areas, double security garaging, and lift access. All will have private garden courtyards with sunny northerly aspects.
