Over 60% of Stage 1 of Levande’s The Cambridge retirement village tower in Epping, Sydney, sold and not to open before late 2025

The 28 level vertical retirement village 18km northwest of Sydney's CBD sold 30 of the proposed apartments within three weeks of going on sale.

Sales from referrals have been especially strong, with a quarter of all buyers to date signing up after being referred by a friend.

The design for The Cambridge includes 172 independent living units, and a 132-bed aged care facility, which will allow residents to age-in-place as their health and care needs change over time.

In 2018 Levande’s previous owner, Stockland, announced its partnership with the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay to redevelop its Our Lady Help of Christians Church and School

The village occupies the site of a former primary school which has been rebuilt by Levande, making The Cambridge a truly intergenerational development, attracting not only older Australians, but their children and grandchildren as well.

“Many of our new residents have told us they made their decision to purchase at The Cambridge based on its facilities and the proximity of the railway station, just two minutes’ walk away. So, they’re doubly pleased to find old neighbourhood friends and acquaintances who’ll soon be living in the same community,” Levande CEO Kevin McCoy said.

The Cambridge will be among the first of Levande’s retirement villages to provide Levande Life, which offers dedicated attention to residents' wellbeing from the day they move in: whether it's social or sporting activities, leisure pursuits, assistance with connecting to activities of daily living services, or, later on, helping with a higher level of care as needed.
