Australia's largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider's latest village at Bundoora, 15km northeast of Victoria's capital city's CBD, is hosting hard hat tours on Thursday, 29 February, from 10am.
Created for active ageing, Callisto Place is part of the master-planned Polaris town centre with shopping, medical centres, cafes and restaurants and public transport close by.
The community is spread over six levels and offers big views and shared amenities including a gym, cinema, library, games room with pool table, communal kitchen, bar and lounge areas and a rooftop terrace. It includes 90 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in a secure community environment that Bolton Clarke believes balances luxury, convenience and lifestyle amenity without the worry of home maintenance.
The vertical village is also designed with energy efficiency in mind with double glazed windows providing insulation and a quiet living space in each apartment. Building materials have been selected carefully to minimise pollutants and rainwater harvesting, a solar rooftop system and smart building technology and a shared electric vehicle for resident use are additional features.
BoltonClarke has over 15,000 employees supporting more than 130,000 clients and residents in the community and across 88 residential aged care homes and 38 retirement villages.
