The new $250 million 23ha over-50s lifestyle resort in QLD's Toowoomba region will include 366 single-storey and split-level homes, a $14 million Country Club, and an outdoor recreational precinct Summer House.
Highfield Heights, to be built in 13 stages, follows the success of GemLife Highfields in the region. About 15% of Highfields Heights will be set aside as green space.
“The look and feel of the resort will redefine rural living in the sector, with the design approach taking a modern twist on classic farmhouse and barn house architecture. It will lean into a laidback Australian sensibility, marrying clean lines with bucolic charm,” said GemLife Director and CEO Adrian Puljich.
“Communal facilities and homes will blend warm rustic appeal with contemporary elegance in keeping with the character and beauty of the Highfields area.”
Earthworks are underway and Stage One is expected to be released in the third or fourth quarter.
