Ozcare to open Stage 3 of Reflections on the Bay, Hervey Bay, with Stage 4 mid-year

1 min read

It is all action on Queensland’s Fraser Coast with the Not For Profit about to welcome residents into the 23 new independent living units, one-, two- and two plus study, over two levels in its retirement village in Stage 3 of the development.

Work has already begun on stage 4 which will include 18 villas, a Men’s Shed and the completion of the Community Centre in Kawungan.

Woollam Constructions said it is "laying down the foundations for multi-level retirement living" in Stage 5, with Enrich Architecture stating "apartment building foundations are being poured for new multi-level retirement living."

Stage 1 (15 apartments) and 2 (22 villas) have sold out.

Reflections on the Bay is co-located with an Ozcare aged care facility.

Anna Gorgijeski, Head of Retirement Living, told the LEADERS SUMMIT "because they are co-located, it may be a couple in the village, and one of them has to move next door.”

"They're still able to see each other. That connectivity. And it's really important to them,” Anna said.
