The six-storey, 152-bed residential aged care home located 10km southwest of Brisbane's CBD is set to open, on schedule, later this month.
The home will include rooms for both singles and couples under the small household model, with access to domestic kitchens, walking tracks, an on-site laundry, outdoor BBQs, a hobby shed, a hair and beauty salon, and a wellness and vitality centre.
The site is neighboured by a childcare centre, similar to Rockpool's home in Carseldine, situated 16km north of the Brisbane CBD and Australia's first 5 Star Green Star aged care facility.
"With construction progressing beautifully, it’s incredible to see our vision coming to life, creating a warm, supportive, state-of-the-art environment for our future residents," a social media post from the company said.
