The aged care, mental health and retirement living operator has officially opened a new aged care facility in the Perth suburb.
The two-storey, 80-bed facility is a major expansion of Roshana’s existing Valencia aged care home.
The new aged care facility has four designated wings, featuring spacious rooms with private ensuite bathrooms, and amenities including a hairdresser, a wellness garden, a cinema, and an on-site café.
“When Priyanka and I started Roshana Care Group, our mission was clear: to provide exceptional care and support to the vulnerable members of our community. When we branched out from a mental health provider to an aged care provider, our vision was to ensure that the golden age of the most hardworking members of our society are well looked after, and that they age gracefully and with dignity,” Dr Rosh Jalagge, Chief Executive Officer of Roshana Care Group, said.
The previous site has been integrated into the new building, and has been transformed into the dementia wing.
In addition, Roshana Care Group is currently working on plans for a new $22 million four-storey 120-bed aged care home in Victoria Park, an inner south eastern suburb of Perth.
The private operator has nine aged care homes, two retirement living villages, and four mental health facilities across metro and regional areas in Western Australia.
In 2020, Roshana acquired an aged care facility west of Perth from Baptistcare WA, two years after it took over three aged care facilities and one retirement village from the same operator under its subsidiary, Burswood Care.
