Promising a new standard in aged care, the Not For Profit is about to open a new $33 million 100-bed aged care home, which spans over 10,000sqm, in Goodwood, an inner southern suburb of Adelaide.
Designed by local architecture and planning business Brown Falconer and builder Sarah Constructions, Eldercare says Goodwood by Eldercare will “prioritise the wellbeing and comfort of its residents”.
Every room offers a 27sqm layout, making it the largest among all Eldercare’s 13 sites across metropolitan Adelaide and on the Yorke Peninsula. With state-of-the-art technology for safety and entertainment, the rooms follow the small household model recommended by the Aged Care Royal Commission with living spaces separated from communal areas.
“This commitment to ample living space ensures residents have room to relax, maintain their privacy, and create a sense of home,” states the provider, whose CEO is Jane Pickering (pictured).
Goodwood by Eldercare will also offer an on-site gym, visits by allied health professionals and a concierge service to arrange services such as outings and dry cleaning.
