It is billed as "a new form of living for over 55s that is not a retirement village" and the second stage of the strata titled development, 13km north of Sydney's CBD, has been launched.
Stage 1 was a success and sold out before turning the first sod of soil. Launched in October 2020, Jardin had 55 one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments and penthouses priced from $680,000 for a one-bedroom, $1.1 million for a two bedroom, $1.35 million for a three-bedroom and $1.7 million for a penthouse.
The second stage of Jardin, which needed the backing of the NSW Land and Environment Court, is two new buildings, Eucalyptus and Wattle, which will be connected to Stage 1 and the Acacia and Banksia buildings by a central outdoor landscaped garden called ‘Le Jardin’ (The Garden).
The second stage will have 98 apartments, ranging from one- to three-bedrooms, in two buildings of three to seven stories. Ten of these units will be designated for disability housing with four designated affordable units for seniors.
Jardin was Platino Properties' first Over 55s development and CEO, George Revay, has since launched The Bellevue – Greenwich, 7km northwest of the CBD; and Pagewood Place – Pagewood, 8km south of the centre of Sydney.
