Alex Jimenez’ Riverbend set to be a major retirement living brand with multiple LLC and village properties set to launch

The first Riverbend land lease property made up of 160 homes, ranging internally from 131.4msq to 161.5msq, will be built in the gated community in the Hervey Bay suburb of Urangan inspired by the Brisbane-based syndicated property developer Metacap’s Founder and CEO’s visits to Bali.

“Riverbend Hervey Bay has been crafted to be a tropical oasis that will make residents feel as though they are on a constant holiday,” Alex Jiminez said.

“Our design-led vision is to replicate the tropical resort hotel feel for this new community.”

The first stage of 13 homes, priced from $610,000 to $760,000, will be ready next month.

Riverbend Hervey Bay will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, cinema, library, craft room and activity centre. There also will be a dedicated RV parking area for residents.

A second location, Riverbend Agnes Water, will be built over 10 stages and when finished will have 190 homes. It is about a month behind the opening in Hervey Bay.

The floor plans are identical to those at Hervey Bay.

Metacap’s Riverbend is also building three new retirement villages at Ballina, in NSW’s Northern Rivers; Burpengary in the City of Moreton Bay, and Yandina in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
