The proposed Halcyon Vasse will contain 214 detached homes and extensive community amenities on a 14ha site in the suburb of the same name in Busselton, the city 200km south of Perth and 36km north of Margaret River.
There will be six house designs of varying roof types and exterior colour schemes, with lot sizes from 23msq to 465msq, with all homes achieving a minimum 7-star NatHERS rating.
Also planned is 1500msq community centre with a clubhouse with private dining room, function space, commercial kitchen and cinema. In addition, a wellness centre would feature a 25m heated pool, spa, gym, yoga room and treatment facilities.
If the development application, prepared by CDP Town Planning and Urban Design, is approved by City of Busselton, it will add to two other land lease communities in Western Australia: the 12.6ha Halcyon Wildflower in Piara Waters, 20km south-southeast of Perth, and a 152-home land lease community at Stockland Illyarrie, a new $171 million residential community in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The SOURCE reported in May the property group was looking to Western Australia after starting on four Stockland Halcyon communities in Victoria: Evergreen (in Clyde, in Melbourne’s southeast) Horizon (at Armstrong Creek, located between Geelong CBD and Torquay), Highlands (in Craigieburn, in Melbourne’s north) and Jardin (in Clyde North, in Melbourne’s southeast).
