The village operator has revealed plans for Australia’s first vertical retirement village built on a racecourse in Ascot, 7km northeast of the Brisbane CBD.
Named after record-breaking racehorse Bernborough, the two-hectare development will offer 300 oversized one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouse style homes ranging from $485,000 for a one-bedroom to $1.4 million for a penthouse overlooking Doomben racecourse.
As we covered here, the community will be developed over five stages with the first set to be completed in mid-2020.
The site will join Lendlease’s 12 other retirement villages in Queensland, including two in Brisbane.
