Residents start moving into Vasey Communities’ Kokoda Residences in Waitara on Sydney’s Upper North Shore

1 min read

Kokoda Residences, Vasey Communities’ redeveloped site in Waitara, 19km northwest of Sydney’s CBD, has its first residents.

First marketed in early 2020 (in the middle of the first COVID-19 lockdown), the 11-storey development contains 117 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, all with balconies.

"The design and quality of the building has even exceeded my high expectations – and to have so many people moving in is an exciting and rewarding time for everyone involved,” Vasey Communities CEO Graham Hooper said.

“It's the community that is so important to me – and our team are so thrilled to see this all come to fruition. I truly believe Kokoda Residences will provide all of the residents with an active and meaningful lifestyle, which will enable them to enjoy their retirement years to the fullest (even though many of our residents would never consider themselves as ever retiring!)".

Brand Partners has marketed the project, which was built by Richard Crookes Construction.
