Victorian Not For Profit aged care provider The Mayflower Group has appointed two new board members, Catherine Nance and Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly, effective 1 July 2024.

Catherine Nance has more than 20 years' experience in the financial sector, including 19 years as a Partner and Actuary at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She has extensive experience in superannuation, investment, insurance, and aged care, which will make her invaluable to Mayflower's financial strategy and risk management.

Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly (right) has vast experience as an executive and CEO, after almost twenty years in the public health service and with private aged care organisations. Formerly CEO of Jewish Care Victoria, he was also CEO of Victoria’s largest aged care provider, BlueCross, during its merger with SapphireCare. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive of Eastern Health for seven years. A Registered Psychiatric and General Nurse, Alan worked extensively on matters related to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and has completed a number of independent reviews into COVID-19 outbreaks for the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.

Mary-Jane Stolp, Chair of the Mayflower Board, said the new board members' "combined expertise in finance, healthcare, and aged care services will be instrumental in guiding Mayflower through the evolving landscape of aged care and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional services to our community".
