The For Purpose organisation has celebrated builder Hacer Group’s completion of the frame for all four residential buildings that will be St Clare in Kew, 5km east of the Melbourne CBD.
The $250 million Woods Bagot project, which broke ground in October 2023, aims to set a new standard for over-55 living with 103 premium apartments.
VMCH CEO Sonya Smart said St. Clare is on track for completion at the end of 2025.
She added St. Clare has broken all records for retirement off-plan sales, with 70% of the apartments – which range in price from $1.3 million to $4.7 million – now reserved.
“St. Clare is not only the biggest project our organisation has undertaken in more than a century, but it’s tipped to be the most premium precinct in its class in Victoria,” she added.
St. Clare is situated on a 1.4ha site in the prestigious Studley Park area, surrounded by parkland and picturesque heritage architecture. The precinct will feature 50% open space.
