HammondCare has opened a new overnight respite cottage on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Bugari Cottage at Terrey Hills will be available for stays of up to 10 nights, and has two staff always on site to assist a maximum of four guests at a time.
According to HammondCare CEO Mike Baird (pictured, centre), Bugari will offer guests the benefits of the Not For Profit provider’s “unique model of care”.
“HammondCare’s relationship-based model of care seeks to understand the needs of every individual and ensure they are met.
“Carers can take a well-deserved break, knowing that their loved ones will be given compassionate, individualised care at Bugari Cottage, supported by a homely environment and personalised engagement activities,” he said.
Bugari is HammondCare’s sixth respite cottage; it opened two others in Dubbo and Goulburn, NSW, this year. The provider last week cut the ribbon on its newest residential aged care home at Miranda, in Sydney’s south.
