Home care provider Silverchain has launched a new self-funded service in Victoria for customers looking to pay out of pocket and avoid waiting and assessment periods.
Dubbed Silverchain Private Care, the service – currently available in metropolitan Melbourne – allows clients to pay for a range of health and aged care services instead of, or in addition to, seeking Government-funded packages.
Clients are given dedicated care managers, personalised care plans, and 24/7 access to health professionals.
“Silverchain Private Care aims to meet the growing needs of Victorians, who are seeking greater choice in their care options and want truly personalised support in the comfort of their own home,” said Silverchain’s Executive Director Victoria, Carolyn Bell (pictured). “For those who are looking for an alternative to residential aged care, services while they wait for government-subsidised support, or something in between, our care experts can help.”
Silverchain unveiled a brand refresh with a new slogan, “Health. Human. Home”, in June this year.
