The DCM Group tours Sydney aged care homes and retirement villages

1 min read

The team at the DCM Group hit the road yesterday to visit a number of aged care homes and retirement villages across the city yesterday.

Many thanks to the staff and residents at:

  • Tulich Family Communities’ The Royce, Penrith
  • Aveo’s Bella Vista Haven retirement village, Bella Vista
  • Australian Unity’s Constitution Hill retirement community and aged care home, Northmead
  • Uniting Park Meadows retirement village and aged care home, Westmead
  • Levande’s Cardinal Freeman retirement village, Ashfield

First up was The Royce at Penrith, where we had the opportunity to meet with ambassador Royce Simmons and chef Ross Dobson, who heads the village’s popular café.

Then it was onto Aveo’s 70 retirement apartments in Bella Vista before we headed down the road to Australian Unity’s largest NSW village, Constitution Hill, and its co-located aged care home.

We then jumped back on the bus to Uniting’s Westmead village and aged care precinct which also includes a Seniors Gym and childcare centre before a final stop at Levande’s Cardinal Freeman village in Ashfield.

Six years after our first visit, it was amazing to see how the site has grown and thrived.

Thank you again to the managers and staff who gave their time to show the team around and share their insights.
