Australia’s largest village operator has unveiled the first stage of Bernborough Ascot, which features 69 independent living apartments in the trackside development.
The $270 million precinct, developed over four stages in agreement with Brisbane Racing Club (BRC), will see eventually see 300 independent living units built on the site.
Prices start at $647,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and $1.4 million for a penthouse at the village, which is located roughly 7km from the Brisbane CBD.
“The availability of high-quality retirement living options is an important part of this precinct, creating diversity and the opportunity for locals from the area to downsize close to home in a genuine community setting,” said Lendlease Retirement Living Managing Director, Nathan Cockerill.
The site will be Lendlease’s 12th retirement village in Queensland.
