Lincoln Place turn soil on latest land lease community at Eden Sports and Recreation Club on NSW Sapphire Coast

Lincoln Place, founded by Ben Hindmarsh (right) and Nicholas Collishaw (left) in 2018, has finally turned the soil on its plan for 115 Over 55s land lease homes and community facilities adjacent to Eden Sports and Recreation Club on the NSW Sapphire Coast.

More than 250 people have registered expressions of interest on the homes of either one- or two-bedroom plus a study/multimedia room. Prices are forecast to be in the mid-$400,000s.

"You're 100m from the club and the golf course, 1km from the shopping centre and 500m from the beach," Andrew Terry, Club CEO, said.

“Basically we wouldn’t have been here without it. It’s paid for the rebuild and for future extensions,”

Lincoln Place’s Eden Gardens is being built on the club's land and in return Eden Sports and Recreation Club will get a share of the rental profits which club chairman Colin Clarke said would help to offset the ongoing costs of the club.

The first two homes could be on the market by March next year, Lincoln Place development director Henry Pilcher said, with continuing development over the next couple of years.

Local contractor RD Miller is preparing the site and local agent Chris Wilson, of Chris Wilson Real Estate, has been appointed to manage sales of the homes.

Lincoln Place, which describes itself as a real estate fund manager specialising in the creation, development, management and operation of active lifestyle retirement communities, has a growing portfolio. Current developments are Campbell Estate at Cessnock, NSW Hunter Valley, and Portland Lifestyle Estate in VIC.
