The Not For Profit has added 79 one-, two- and three-bedroom independent living units across two buildings to its existing Randwick campus, located 6km east of the Sydney CBD.
As we reported here, Jackson Teece handled the design with Richard Crookes Construction working on the build to deliver the two-year M by Montefiore project on schedule.
“The design, finishes and facilities at M by Montefiore are comparable with the finest contemporary, high-end apartments in Sydney,” said Montefiore CEO Robert Orie.
According to Orie, there’s been significant demand from couples and singles in their 70s and up.
“People who want to continue their independent lifestyles, but with maintenance-free living and the reassurance of added support on hand should they need it,” he added.
90 aged care beds are also being built on the site.
The Not For Profit held a virtual opening in September, and the first residents have already moved in.
