Stage 3 of Hometown Australia’s Glenfern village in NSW’s Port Macquarie to begin

1 min read

Stage 3 civil works have begun at Glenfern, Hometown Australia’s 53rd land lease community, in Port Macquarie, 390km north of Sydney’s CBD.

“After a challenging 2022 with abnormal weather conditions, we are excited that in 2023 we will be welcoming new residents to the community. The first homes are beginning to take shape and we are looking forward to Glenfern’s first residents moving in mid-year,” said Hometown Australia.

“The community amenities, including the outdoor lap pool and main Community Clubhouse building, are well underway and due for completion by the end of 2023. The community centre will be the hub of Glenfern. Relax in the pool, café or cinema or be more active with lawn bowls, pickle ball, or at the gym and wellness centre. There will also be plenty of areas to meet with family and friends for a game of pool in the Sports Bar or a BBQ lunch on the terrace.”

There will be 151 land lease homes built on Glenfern over three stages.

Hometown Australia, the Australian arm of the US home park operator Hometown America, has 10,000 residents in over 52 communities.
