Sundale has lodged an application to build 69 units on a vacant lot adjacent to one of their villages in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast, 100km north of Brisbane.
The development will be next to the existing Palmwoods Retirement Community that already contains 107 units.
The extension includes a new community centre, a health and wellness centre and a new road that would link the village with another road to the north of the site.
Another development application is also seeking to add a further 19 independent living units to the existing site on Jubilee Drive along with a new chapel and recreation hall.
Sundale, a community Not For Profit operator founded in Nambour, has four operational villages across the Sunshine Coast region and another under construction in Noosa.
