Uniting Nowra Symons House is located across the road from 35 existing independent living apartments. It will become part of the Uniting campus, which also includes a 136-bed residential aged care home and will be opened 16 June by Uniting NSW.ACT CEO Tracey Burton and Shoalhaven Council CEO Stephen Dunshea.

The opening is the first of five retirement living developments being built by Uniting NSW.ACT, this year: Marion Street, Leichhardt, in Sydney’s inner west; Bowden Brae in Normanhurst, in Sydney’s upper north shore; Uniting Yamba, on the NSW North Coast; and at Geringong, on the NSW South Coast.
Uniting NSW.ACT villages operate under a Loan and Licence Agreement whereby a client makes an upfront loan followed by an exit departure fee.
