Arcare Birtinya was officially opened on Monday, 24 April with Sunshine Coast Mayor Mark Jamieson cutting the ribbon and welcoming the home’s first residents.
The four-storey aged care home on the Sunshine Coast contains 90 suites within three tailored communities – Buddina, Kawana, and Warana.
Private operator Arcare is due to open another 80-suite home in Newcastle, NSW – Arcare Belmont.
Arcare has been in operation for more than 40 years, and operates 50 aged care homes in Queensland, NSW and Victoria.
