Third of residents at Botanica Lifestyle Resort in Cairns QLD are single women over 55

With a new release called Sunbird Sanctuary, Botanica Lifestyle Resort Sales Manager Gavin Third has said that 33% of the 170 residents in the 110-plus homes in Cairns, QLD, are single women aged over 55.

“They value safety and security, and not being on their own, there’s plenty of activities and events, dinners,” Gavin said.

The 10 two- and three-bedroom homes at Botanica Lifestyle Resort sell from $440,000 to $840,000.

“This is the first land lease development in Cairns and demand has been there, it’s filled a hole,” added Gavin.

The $90m land lease resort was launched in 2019, with the first residents moving in by the end of 2020. The Weekly SOURCE reported in February that Botanica Lifestyle Resorts had applied for another 125 homes development.
