Sundale Chief Executive Officer Helen Sharpley leaves for new CEO role

1 min read

After almost two years at the helm of Sunshine Coast-based Not For Profit community provider of retirement communities, aged care centres and In-Home services, Helen has become CEO of SSO Consulting, a business advisory service.

"A challenging turnaround to encourage all stakeholders to be purpose driven. Much achieved but plenty more to do," she wrote about her experience at Sundale.

"Aged care is a challenging sector and has provided me the opportunity to use all my skills - financial turnaround, strategy and vision setting, cultural change and most importantly customer experience.
"I’m proud to be leading the only 5-star aged care facility (Bowder Lodge Care Centre) on the Sunshine Coast and to have improved our financial performance by $8M in the first year."

In October, Sundale opened its $42 million, 69-unit extension of Palmwoods Garden Village on QLD's Sunshine Coast.
