Uniting has opened 101 new apartments at its Bowden Brae village in Normanhurst on Sydney’s North Shore, adding to the 39 existing units at the site.

The new apartments, which are in two-bed, two-bed with study, and three-bed configurations, are supported by amenities such as a swimming pool and playground, pet-friendly spaces, clubroom with BBQ area, café, hair salon, and chapel; additionally, all apartments are lift-accessible and have assisted living available on request.

According to Keith Morgan, Head of Village Services, new residents are already making use of the amenities and green spaces.

“We are so pleased to see residents move in and enjoy their new homes and communal spaces, which were delayed due to COVID-19.

“As well as a vibrant community to live in, we are also pleased to be able to provide residents with move-in support, which includes assisting them with their relocation costs,” he said.

Uniting is offering a complimentary relocation service including planning, packing/unpacking, settlement cleans, and utilities connection to all new contracts requested prior to 31 March.

A Uniting aged care home is also adjacent to the village on the same site.
