Ibis Care acquires The Palms aged care home in Sutherland Shire

The For Profit aged care provider, which has operated aged care homes in Sydney's south for nearly 20 years, has bought The Palms, a 58-bed aged care facility in Kirrawee, 25km south of the Sydney CBD, from Palms Aged Living Management.

Mid-last year, Ibis Care acquired Ferndale Gardens Aged Care in Mortdale, 20km south of the Sydney CBD, and Huntingdon Gardens Aged Care in Bexley, 14km south of Sydney's CBD, from the Moschella family.

Ibis Care also owns aged care homes in Blakehurst and Miranda. All homes - including The Palms - have 4 Star ratings.

“I am excited to be extending our services to support more of the Sutherland Shire’s ageing community by acquiring The Palms in Kirrawee effective from 31st May," said Ibis Care Chief Executive Officer La Stacey Baramy.

The Palms offers "family-like" accommodation. Some rooms include ensuites, kitchenette, and access to a courtyard. There is an on-site cafe, theatre hall, outdoor entertaining area, and meals are prepared on site. 

Ibis Care also owns the Blakehurst Villas independent living community. 

Palms Aged Living Management also owns the new aged care home Highfields Manor Port Macquarie.
