The diversified property developer has instigated changes to its leadership team and organisational structure as its strategy under CEO Tarun Gupta has evolved.

"Andrew Whitson, CEO – Communities, will take on the role of Chief Executive, Development, with end-to-end responsibility for development and delivery across all asset classes,” a release to the ASX stated.

Group CEO Taryn Gupta's first major act after taking the role in November 2020 was to buy Queensland-based Halcyon Group and its land lease communities for $620 million. The agreement includes the purchase of 3,800 sites across 13 land lease communities, made up of six operating land lease communities, four communities in development and three projects in planning.

It has moved into Western Australia with its first planned land lease community, Halcyon Wildflower, in Piara Waters, the southeastern suburb of Perth. The two- and three-bedroom apartments for over 50s are part of Stockland's Wildflower master planned community.

Under Andrew's leadership, its master planned communities are including an over 50s lifestyle community.
