John pioneered the village sector ‘social license’, which has been its cornerstone in effective advocacy with residents, media and government.
Villages care for nearly 50,000 New Zealanders, 13.9% of people aged 75 and above, and is highly regarded for its innovative continuum of care model.
John and wife Janet have moved into an Arvida retirement village in Nelson, in New Zealand's South Island, selecting it for its wellness program.
