Baptist Care Australia Executive Director Nicole Hornsby has resigned

1 min read

The Baptist Care Australia Board has announced the resignation of its Executive Director, who was appointed to the role in January 2020, directly before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The departure of Nicole Hornsby, who has served Baptist Care for 18 years, follows the announcement in May that BaptistCare NSW & ACT was to merge with Baptist Care WA with BaptistCare NSW & ACT CEO Charles Moore to be CEO of the new merged entity.

“Nicole’s approachability, compassion, and passion for justice have left an indelible mark on those who have worked with her, and she will be greatly missed by many. We across the national Baptist network are all grateful for her unwavering commitment and the lasting legacy of unity and faith that she leaves behind,” said Charles, Board Chair.

The Baptist Care Australia Board will look to make an Interim appointment while they embark upon a comprehensive search for a new Executive Director to lead the Baptist Care Australia network.
