Living Choice is set to hold information sessions for its new retirement village at Galston in Sydney’s north, with construction to start within the next few months.
The village, which received development approval in September last year, will comprise 40 two- and three-bedroom villas, as well as 48 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments plus a leisure centre (pictured above).
Bulk earthworks are expected to begin in the first half of this year, with two information sessions to be held on 29 March at Living Choice’s nearby Glenhaven village.
According to Regional Manager Gail Eyres, while Living Choice has faced hurdles in the luxury retirement community market, there is a silver lining.
“Many more people have come to realise the value of retirement villages in a pandemic. This has been illustrated at Living Choice’s villages throughout Australia and especially at Glenhaven, where the residents have been such a terrific support for each other.
“Living Choice Directors Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs, and Group General Manager Jason Sack, have all indicated they will personally attend the Information Sessions, so this will be a great opportunity for clients to meet them,” she said.
Living Choice Galston will join the existing Glenhaven village as well as Living Choice Dural, announced in September, which will contain apartments only.
