Baptist Care Australia appoints new CEO

The board of the national peak body has announced Dr Robyn Sampson as its new Chief Executive Officer to represent its 10 members in Australia.

Dr Sampson first joined Baptist Care Australia in 2021 as an analyst and strategist and has been serving as Acting CEO following the departure of Nicole Hornsby in August last year.

An internationally recognised expert on migration, she previously worked at the United Nations to secure key commitments on a Global Compact on Migration and holds a PhD in Politics from La Trobe University.

“Her passion and commitment to others, combined with her extensive track record of advocacy impact, means she is well-placed to represent and support our members’ social services,” Charles Moore, Chair of the Baptist Care Australia Board, said.

“I have no doubt Robyn will be a strong advocate for people who are vulnerable and living on the margins, as well as a valued thought leader for Baptist social services across Australia.”

•            Baptcare (VIC & TAS)
